Bulgarian omelet

In general omelet is considered to be a common dish, which is usually prepared for breakfasts. Nowadays this light snack is appreciated almost all over the world and the famous dieticians are sure that it is healthy and rather substantial way to start the day.

However, we can’t but mention that in every corner of the planet you will find something really special. But today we are going to tell you about tasty Bulgarian omelet.

What products to take

  • Chicken eggs – 4 pcs.
  • Sheep cheese – 100 g
  • Milk – 30 ml
  • Butter for frying – 2 tbsp.
  • Green onion – to taste

How to prepare this dish

First of all we would like to mention that Bulgarian omelet is believed to be a fast, tasty, healthy and just excellent breakfast solution, especially if it is prepared with cheese.

How to make an omelet without any problems? – Believe you or not, but it is really rather simple. The only thing you should do is to follow the steps carefully and try to do it properly.

Step 1

Prepare all the products, necessary for omelette with cheese

Break the chicken eggs into a bowl.

Step 3

Whip the eggs using special whisking device or mixer.

Step 4

Grate the sheep cheese carefully on medium grater.

Step 5

Add the received cheese and some milk to eggs. Mix the mass thoroughly.

Step 6

Preheat the frying pan. Lay out the butter.

Step 7

Wash and chop the green onions finely.

Step 8

Pour the received mixture on a hot frying pan together with melted butter. Fry an omelet with sheep cheese on a small fire under the cover for about 7-10 minutes, until the top becomes more or less dense and thick.

Step 9

Then add chopped green onions. Put the prepared omelet into a bowl.

Step 10

The Bulgarian omelet is ready. Serve omelet with feta cheese and fresh tomatoes.
