Stuffed potatoes in the oven

A simple recipe for stuffed potatoes is quite budget-priced, but at the same time it turns ordinary potatoes into an original and mouth-watering dish.

What products to take

  • Pork-beef minced meat – 300 g
  • Potato 1,5 kg
  • Onion 2 pcs.
  • Carrots – 1 pic
  • Salt
  • Powdered black pepper
  • Green onion

How to prepare the dish

Step 1

First of all it is necessary to choose potatoes of the same size and shape. Potatoes should be washed and cleaned.

Step 2

Then empty the vegetables. For this purpose you can use a teaspoon or a special spoon for cutting balls from vegetables and fruits.Try to make as deep holes as it is possible in order to put enough minced meat inside.

Step 3

Let’s start preparing minced meat. Cut the onion into cubes and add to the meat. Salt and pepper to taste. Minced meat should be slightly beaten, so that excess air comes out of it. In this case your meat will keep the shape well.

Step 4

In the frying pan fry the chopped onion until golden hint, add the grated carrot and cook until soft condition.

Step 5

Fill the potatoes with minced meat. Put the stuffed potatoes in a baking dish in one layer. Put fried onions and carrots onto fried potatoes, pour the dish with salted boiled water.

Step 6

After that it is necessary to put the mold into the oven, heated to a temperature of 220 ° C, and bake for 45-50 minutes.

Step 7

Prepared stuffed potatoes should be got from the oven and sprinkled with chopped green onions.
